We gave Ryan Negley a blank canvas and let him paint. Owl of Oz begins with 7-year-old O.Z. Tyler bourbon and its distinctive 74/16/10 mash bill, layered with 10–12 year MGP bourbon from both the classic 75/21/4 and high-rye 60/36/4 mash bills.

The result is a blend that brings together three very different personalities into something better than any one component on its own. Bottled at a bold 120.6 proof, Owl of Oz balances mature oak, sweetness, fruit and spice with a richness that carries the proof remarkably well.

The name may come from the O.Z. Tyler bourbon at its foundation, but what Ryan built on top of it is pure Onyx & Amber. We’ve made a lot of blends we’re proud of. We think Owl of Oz is the best one we’ve done yet.
